Evening all,
I have discovered a bug in TDK Online that has caused the board software to inadvertently count bot views as organic views. As a result, post view counters are currently extremely over-inflated.
It appears that web crawlers - which are accommodated on TDK Online for search engine indexing and wayback archiving, amongst other desirable things - keep crawling the same threads over and over; I am yet to figure out why this is the case, but regardless I am working in the background to amend this and prevent it from happening going forward.
In the interim, please disregard the amount of views on any given bulletin as they are now all surely inaccurate. (Sorry Rudy, your thread does not have 200K views. We have barely 70 members...) Please shelve your fantasies of going viral and expect a fix within the next couple of days. Apologies for any crushed dreams.
