The Kingly Rule Assistance Party (Meltorian: Klunire Lutomeni Partie) is the dominant political party in Meltor. It has been the ruling party since Perisu's Thaw in 1999. Founded by the New Millennia Declarations, the party has enjoyed a guarantee of at least 50% of the seats in parliament, a policy which international observers have repeatedly criticised as undemocratic. Its primary opposition is the big tent Second Reform Party and the centrist Liberal Party of Meltor. It has repeatedly worked in coalition with some members of Sogeny's Purity to shore up support. Internally, the party is wracked by infighting due Sionan o Oldo attempts to distance himself from his publicly unpopular uncle.
In the general election held on 29th June 2010, the party outright won only 118 seats, with the rest of its majority secured thanks to the Majority Clause.
