Description of fields
Syntax
Nested fields rely on their parent fields:
- parent
- child — may be used with parent (and is ignored if parent is not used)
Description
- spelling: Spelling used by the infobox. "us" for American spelling, default to "gb" (British spelling).
- station: Proper name of the station.
- station_image: Image of the station.
- station_image_landscape: If image is panoramic or of a significant landscape orientation (that is, greater width than height), type yes.
- station_image_size: Width of the image, expressed as a whole number without "px" at the end. Maximum and default width is "220"; if "station_image_landscape=yes", then maximum and default is "300". Any number entered must be less than these maximums.
- station_image_alt: Short description of the image's appearance, for visually impaired readers; see WP:ALT.
- station_image_caption: Short descriptive caption of the image.
- extra_image: Additional image intended for use as a non-photographic station-related image.
- extra_image_landscape: Same as "station_image_landscape".
- extra_image_size: Same as "station_image_size".
- extra_image_alt: Same as "station_image_alt".
- extra_image_caption: Short descriptive caption of the image.
- insignia: Image of a station patch, logo, seal, etc.
- insignia_size: Same as "station_image_size"; default width is 160px, though figure can be higher or lower.
- insignia_alt: Same as "station_image_alt".
- insignia_caption: Short descriptive caption of the image.
- COSPAR_ID: International designator for tracking the space station.
- SATCAT: United States Space Command designator for tracking the space station.
- sign: Callsign for the station. May be the radio callsign, unique station identifier, or similar.
- crew: Current number of crew aboard the station.
- launch: Date of initial station launch.
- carrier_rocket: Launch vehicle model. Should be wikilinked.
- launch_pad: Identity of the launch site that the station or its components was launched from.
- reentry: Date of atmospheric reentry of the station.
- status: Current status of the station; e.g., "On orbit", "Canceled", "Complete", etc.
- mass: Current mass of the station.
- length: Current length of the station.
- width: Current width of the station.
- height: Current width of the station.
- diameter: Current diameter of the station. Only useful if the station is of cylindrical design.
- volume: Total current habitable volume of the station.
- pressure: Standard interior air press of the station.
- periapsis: Distance of the closest approach to the object that the station travels.
- apoapsis: Distance of the farthest point from the object that the station travels.
- inclination: The maximum number of degrees that the station travels above or below the equator during an orbit.
- altitude: Average orbital altitude above the Earth.
- speed: Orbital speed of the station.
- period: Time it takes for the station to make one full orbit around the Earth.
- orbits_day: How many times the station orbits the Earth during a 24-hour period.
- in_orbit: Total number of days in orbit.
- occupied: Total number of days occupied by a crew while in orbit.
- orbits: Total number of orbits completed.
- distance: Total distance traveled while in orbit.
- apsis: Planet specific apsis term (eg. gee/helion/selene/etc - defaults to generic "apsis").
- as_of: Date or time frame at which the statistics were noted to be valid, such as at launch, deorbit, or after latest assembly mission. If faced with multiple dates, you may omit this field and specify in the "stats_ref" field along with the citations.
- stats_ref: Allows for statistics to be referenced. Remember to encapsulate each reference in <ref></ref> tags to keep the appearance clean.
- configuration_image: Blueprint, schematic, or other image that clearly shows the configuration of the station.
- configuration_landscape: Same as "station_image_landscape".
- configuration_size: Same as "station_image_size".
- configuration_alt: Same as "station_image_alt".
- configuration_caption: Short descriptive caption of the image.
