New Konigstadt (/njuː konɪgʃtɑːt; -stɑːt/; Kanadiaans: Neu Königstadt, [nɔʏ køːnigʃtaːt]) is the capital and largest city of Candanadium. Founded in 1127 by William of Magnar as Fort Magnar (Kanadiaans: Magnarburg), it became the capital of Candanadium at the end of the Candanadian Civil War in 1864, as Old Konigstadt (known then as Konigstadt) had been in rebel hands during the war. New Konigstadt makes up most of the territory of the Candanadian Capital Region, the smallest Candanadian province.
