Parameters

This infobox takes a number of parameters, which are all optional:

Parameter	Description
Basic information
shorttitle	The short title of the document, which should preferably be the same as the article title. If the parameter is left blank or omitted, the article name is used.
longtitle	The long title of the Presidential Document. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve the title from Wikidata using property (P1476).
othershorttitles	If the document has more than one short title, list all other short titles here.
signedpresident	The President who signed the document. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property (P50).
signeddate	The date on which the document was signed. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property (P571).
type	The type of Presidential Document. The possible values are: executive order memorandum proclamation directive determination signing If some value other than the ones above is given to |type=, the field is left blank.
executiveorder	The sequence number of the Executive Order. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property (P1555).
summary	A very brief summary of the subjects that this document concerns.
Federal Register details
documentnumber	The Federal Register document number of the document in question. This will automatically generate a link to the Federal Register listing for the document using the Federal Register's short URL scheme. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property (P1544).
publicationdate	The date on which the document was published in the Federal Register. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property P577.
documentcitation	The legal citation style for the document. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property (P1031).
Image fields
depiction	A depiction of the subject of the document. If none is readily available, an image of the document being signed can be used.
depictioncaption	The caption for the image depicting the subject (or signing) of the document.
depictionalt	Alt text for the depiction image, for visually impaired readers. See WP:ALT for how this should typically differ from the caption.
documentimage	An image of the document itself.
documentcaption	The caption for the image of the document.
Repeal fields
repealedby	The legal instrument that repealed or annulled the order. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using property (P2568).
repealeddate	The date of repeal or annulment. If available and the field is blank, this will retrieve from Wikidata using qualifier (P585) from property (P2568).
