Welcome one & all to the New Democratikan website!
Introducing: TDK Online v3.0

[rapturous applause]

Version 3 of TDK Online is something of a return to form for us. Turns out I'm too employed to build a proper website from the ground up, so we're returning to the classic Forum + Wiki combo that has proven very successful for us. This being said, we have nonetheless taken this opportunity to implement multiple improvements versus previous implementations:

Site performance should be anywhere from 1x to 3x (task-dependant) faster thanks to investment in superior hardware and a more efficient software stack. Furthermore, several behind-the-scenes changes will make future site expansion far more streamlined
Full support for mobile browsers with a new second set of interfaces
Forum & Wiki accounts are now integrated, meaning you now only need one login to use the whole site (finally!)
UNIS has now been discontinued, meaning a Discord account is no longer mandatory. This is especially important for our NationStates-based members who cannot or do not wish to use Discord. Also, no longer relying on the historically flaky Discord APIs has already had a huge impact on site stability
TDK-IH has been improved with WEBP, GIF and animated PNG support. It remains free for unlimited uploads of files up to 25MB each

Beyond this, the fundamentals of TDK Online are largely unchanged. We have spaces for discussion and collaboration on works, boards to publish stories and wiki articles of your nation, its organisations, people and histories, all in the "Worldbuilding" section on the homepage. We also have discussion of NationStates affairs such as the World Assembly, interregional diplomacy and metagames such as Issues and Trading Cards in the "NationStates" section on the homepage. We also have a collection of free resources and utilities to help Democratikans in their creative endeavours. These can be located in the "Resources & Utilities" section on the homepage. And as ever, our Discord server remains the vibrant nexus of all things Democratikan, and can be joined through the link in the "Discord" section on the homepage.

To get started, please click the "Register" button on the top-right of the page and fill out the short form. Once you have done so, your account will sit in a magical vault in-between the layers of the space-time continuum until a Moderator verifies your presence within the Democratika on NationStates or Discord. Once your account is activated, you can begin to participate in discussions and publish your works using the provided tools.

I hope you will enjoy using the facilities provided by version 3 of TDK Online, and that you will enjoy writing for and collaborating on the greatest and most modern iteration of The Democratika yet.
